Home Run Hitter
This is an amazing story! This is about a boy, who didn't really even want to play baseball this year! He was sick of baseball because thats all he ever does. He started this year playing for KB Oil. Cooper blossomed into a true player. He played first base and made every play. The really kicker was, when I was up a state with Chaisson, and Dave was coaching Hunter on the lower field. Our ten year little boy hit a home run out of the park to the creek side. Neither parent was there. It was amazing the fans went crazy. I had to hold on to my bonnet when Dave called me to tell me the news. Wow! Unbelievable! Coop was the first one in our family to hit a home run, at 10...........This changed his whole world. He was the clean up hitter, and made All Stars this year!
Our Big Coop
Cooper is so amazing! He has an amazing sense of humor! He is so smart! Not to mention, a smile that is contagious. He brightens everyones day! Everyone asks, " Does he ever stop smiling?" He has such a sweet spirit. He brings out the best in everyone. His brothers tease him quite a bit, he takes it pretty well.(most of the time)
Our Tall Drink of Water and All Star
We have lived baseball this year! It all started in January when Hunter tried out for a team in St. George. He was playing on Caesar's traveling team, It was in March when it all fell apart. While playing in the March Madness tournament the first inning of the game Hunter was playing third base. A rather bigger player that Hunter, slid into him, and instantly Hunter fell to the ground. It is posted on a web site, the photographer got a great photo of it. Needless, to say Hunter got the third out, but was carried off the field, and we later found out he broke his ankle. A couple days later we were in surgery, getting two pins put in his ankle. From the on his missed tournaments with his Caesar's team, and would be on crutches for six weeks, which took us into the third week of Little league. Hunter grew three inches this school year! He is as tall as his older bro. now.
